E8 Perpetuals has two account types, E8 One and E8 Pro. Both are one-phase challenges traded on E8 Terminal with Hyperliquid prices, and both sell from $5K to $500K. E8 One trades a 1.5x profit target and a 40% best-day rule for bigger, configurable drawdowns. E8 Pro uses a static drawdown, a 2% daily profit cap and daily payouts from day zero. A $100K account lists at $468 to $879 depending on the options you pick.

Rules and prices checked on E8 Markets' official configurator and help centre on 17 October 2026. This guide replaces our September version, which described products E8 no longer sells on its perpetuals market.

Key takeaways

  • E8 Perpetuals sells two one-phase products: E8 One (dynamic drawdown, uncapped earnings) and E8 Pro (static drawdown, daily payouts).
  • The drawdown you pick sets the price and the rules: E8 One offers 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% or 14%, and E8 Pro offers 6%, 8% or 10%.
  • E8 One's target is 1.5x the drawdown (9% at 6%). E8 Pro's target equals the drawdown (6% at 6%), but only 2% of the balance counts per day.
  • Funded E8 One accounts face a 40% best-day rule and a news-trading window. E8 Pro has neither.
  • Trading runs only on E8 Terminal, with Hyperliquid's prices and funding. Crypto fees are 0.015% maker and 0.045% taker.

What are the E8 Perpetuals account types?

Financial district at night after rain, illustrating 24/7 perpetual futures trading on E8 Terminal

E8 Perpetuals markets trade 24/7 on E8 Terminal, priced from Hyperliquid.

E8 Perpetuals is the perps market inside E8 Markets. You buy a one-phase challenge on E8 Perpetuals, trade crypto, stock, index, metal, energy and FX perpetuals 24/7 in E8's SimFi simulated environment, and move to a SimFi Performance account once you hit the target. It replaced E8's old Crypto market and offers two products, E8 One and E8 Pro. Both can be passed in a single day, and neither has a time limit, although you must place and close a trade at least once every 60 days.

Hyperliquid prices, E8 Terminal only

Prices, spreads and funding come from the Hyperliquid feed, so movements in your account mirror Hyperliquid in real time. No real funds are deployed. Trading takes place only on E8 Terminal, E8's own platform: perps aren't available on MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker or MatchTrader, and perps accounts use netting rather than hedging. If you're new to the format, read our guide to how perpetual funded accounts work.

One configurator, two very different products

Both products are configured at checkout. The max drawdown you choose sets the price, the target and the daily limit together, and a payout-share upgrade (80% by default) raises the price again. That makes the "same" $100K account cost anywhere from $398 to $1,090 on E8 One.

E8 One vs E8 Pro: which rules apply?

E8 One gives you more room to lose and more upside, at the price of a higher target and a consistency rule once funded. E8 Pro is tighter day to day but has no consistency rule and pays daily. Here is how they compare on a $100K account at the 6% option:

Rule ($100K, 6% option)E8 OneE8 Pro

How the E8 One drawdown moves

E8 One's dynamic drawdown trails your highest closed balance, not your equity, and locks permanently at the starting balance once you have closed profit equal to the drawdown. On $100K at 6%, the loss level starts at $94,000. Close $2,000 of profit and it rises to $96,000. Close a further $4,000 and it locks at $100,000. The daily drawdown scales with the option you pick: 3% of the initial balance at the 4% option, 4% at 6%, 5.3% at 8%, 6.6% at 10% and 9.2% at 14%. It resets each day from that day's starting balance.

How the E8 Pro profit cap works

On E8 Pro, only 2% of the initial balance per day counts toward the target or payout. You can make more, but anything above the day's cap is removed at the next rollover. On $100K the 6% target therefore takes at least three trading days in practice. The daily drawdown stays at 2.5% whichever drawdown you choose, and E8 Pro's target always equals that drawdown: 6%, 8% or 10%.

How do E8 One and E8 Pro payouts work?

Phone on a cafe table beside a coffee, illustrating requesting a payout from an E8 Perpetuals account

E8 Pro pays daily from day zero; E8 One waits on the 40% best-day check.

Payouts are requested from the SimFi Performance account, and the two products handle them very differently. E8 One pays on demand once you pass its consistency check, and E8 Pro pays daily through a built-in buffer.

E8 One: 40% best day, then leave a buffer

  • No single day may make up more than 40% of the profit in the payout cycle. Three similar days is the fastest way to qualify, which is why E8 quotes a first payout in as little as 3 days.
  • Net profit must exceed 50% of your daily drawdown. At $100K with a 4% daily limit, the minimum is $2,001.
  • The payout comes off the balance, but the dynamic loss level doesn't move back down. Requesting everything can leave no buffer, so E8 advises leaving some profit in the account.

E8 Pro: daily payouts with half held back

  • You can request every day once you have at least 1% profit since the last payout.
  • Each request splits profit in two: 50% becomes the payout, and you receive your share of it (80% or 100%). The other 50% stays in the account as a drawdown buffer that still belongs to you.
  • After the first payout, the static loss level moves up to the starting balance and stays there.

Suppose you trade a $50,000 E8 Pro account at the 80% share and make $5,000. Half ($2,500) is the requestable amount, you receive $2,000, and $2,500 stays as buffer.

How E8 pays, and what the on-chain record shows

E8 pays through Rise, WorkMarket or, for US clients, Aeropay. It reports a median of 11 hours from request to approval and 24 hours to funds arriving (January to May 2026), with up to 5 business days in some cases. Our tracker recorded $1,450,368 across 548 on-chain payouts from E8 Markets in the last 30 days to 17 October 2026. That figure is firm-wide, covering every E8 market, not perpetuals alone. It's also a verified on-chain floor, not the full payout volume, because bank wires leave no public trace. Live figures are on our E8 Markets payouts page.

Trading E8 Perpetuals: fees, funding, leverage and banned strategies

Costs on E8 Perpetuals follow Hyperliquid's schedule. Crypto perps cost 0.015% maker and 0.045% taker on notional. Stocks, indices, gold, oil and other traditional instruments cost 0.003% maker and 0.009% taker. Spreads usually run about one tick on major instruments. Funding is charged on open positions as on Hyperliquid, so it can cost you or pay you depending on the side you hold.

What E8 doesn't allow

  • hedging across accounts, including two accounts that are both yours
  • "all-or-nothing" trades that risk the whole daily drawdown on one position
  • holding more than 50% of your trades for under one minute
  • trading with or for other people. Copying between your own accounts is allowed, and so are EAs, provided other users aren't running the same strategy.
  • splitting one winning position across days to get around E8 One's best-day rule or E8 Pro's profit cap. E8 may count such positions as a single trade idea.

Verdict

Choose E8 Pro if you want predictability: a static floor, no consistency rule, no news window, and payouts you can take every day once you are 1% up. The trade-off is a 2.5% daily drawdown and a 2% daily cap that make a fast pass impossible and punish big single-day wins. Choose E8 One if your edge comes in larger swings: you can buy up to a 14% drawdown and earnings are uncapped, but the target scales to 1.5x the drawdown, the loss level trails until it locks, and funded payouts wait on the 40% best-day check. On price at the 6% option, E8 Pro is cheaper up to $100K and E8 One is cheaper from $200K up. Either way, the challenge fee is money you can lose, so pick the drawdown you'll actually trade within, not the largest one available. Our E8 Perpetuals review covers the firm as a whole.
