How does Capital Critic track prop firm rule changes?
Fine Print is a changelog of the terms prop firms publish and then revise. Every firm we monitor has its public pages — pricing, account specifications, trading rules and help-centre answers — re-crawled daily and stored as an immutable version. When a page changes, the new version is compared against the previous one and the changed text is extracted.
A change is only published after a person reviews it. Detection decides what to look at; a human decides what is worth telling traders and writes the summary line. Page moves, retitles and marketing copy are recorded but never published.
Every published entry keeps the exact wording from before and after the change, the date it was detected, and a link to the firm's own page. Capital Critic monitors 44 prop firms and has published 394 changes since .

Added:+The two rules are separate and the numbers are not interchangeable. A synthetic account is never subject to the 15% rule, and an Instant Lite account is never subject to the 25% rule.
Added:+Not a consistency rule: the minimum hold time on synthetic plans On synthetic accounts purchased from 8 October 2026, profit from trades held under 5 minutes does not count toward a payout once you are funded. That is a separate rule and it tests how long you held a trade, not how your profit is spread across days. See Is there a minimum hold time on synthe…

Prop firm rule changes: questions and answers
Edits a prop firm makes to its own published terms: drawdown and daily loss limits, consistency rules, profit targets, profit splits, news-trading restrictions, minimum trading days, prices and payout conditions. Most are made quietly on a pricing or help center page that only ever shows the current version.
Filter this changelog by firm. Every entry shows the date the change was detected, the wording before and after, and a link to the firm's own page so you can check it yourself. Fine Print has published 394 changes across 44 prop firms since August 19, 2026.
44 prop firms across forex, futures and perpetuals. For each one we monitor the public pricing, account, rules and help center pages.
Every monitored page is checked daily. A change is published once a person has reviewed it, so nothing goes live on detection alone.
It depends on the firm and the wording. Some changes only cover new purchases: Blue Guardian's lower 9% profit target applies to accounts bought from August 20, 2026, and older accounts keep 10%. Others apply to everyone right away. Fine Print keeps the firm's full sentence, including any cut-off date.
Fine Print only records what a firm publishes on its own website. Announcements made on Discord, social media or by email show up here once the firm updates its site.
Yes. The five newest changes are open to everyone. A free Capital Critic account opens the full history, the market, firm and topic filters, and optional email alerts. We send one digest only when a matching change has been reviewed and published. There is no paid version.
