The5ers High Stakes vs Bootcamp comes down to price against pace. High Stakes is a 2-step challenge from $19 with an 80% starting profit split and 1:100 forex leverage. Bootcamp is a 3-step path that starts at $22, costs less at the $100K size, but begins at a 50% split. Hyper Growth and Pro Growth add two 1-step routes.
Rules and prices checked on each firm's official site on 20 October 2026.
Key takeaways
- The5ers sells four CFD programs today: High Stakes (2-step), Bootcamp (3-step), and two 1-step programs on its Growth page, Hyper Growth and Pro Growth.
- High Stakes has the widest loss limits (10% maximum, 5% daily on sizes up to $25K) and the highest leverage, but it is the only program that bans opening orders 2 minutes either side of high-impact news.
- Bootcamp is the cheapest way to a $100K funded account: $95 to start plus $205 once you pass, $300 in total, against $405 for a $100K High Stakes New account.
- Hyper Growth costs the most per dollar of starting capital ($260 to $850) but pays a 50% split from the first 10% target and doubles the account at every target, up to $4 million.
- All four programs share the same payout clock: first request 14 days after the funded account starts, then every 2 weeks, with a $150 minimum.
- Our on-chain tracker shows $3,624,005 in The5ers payouts across 2,111 transfers in the 30 days to 20 October 2026, a floor rather than a total.

How do The5ers High Stakes, Bootcamp and Hyper Growth compare?
The5ers program rules side by side. Source: the5ers.com, checked 20 Oct 2026.
The four programs differ most on loss limits and on how many steps stand between you and a funded account. High Stakes gives the most room per trade, Bootcamp spreads a tight 5% limit over three short steps, and the two Growth programs test you once at 10%.
| Rule | High Stakes | Bootcamp | Hyper Growth | Pro Growth |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evaluation steps | 2 | 3 | 1 | 1 |
| Profit target | Step 1: 10% (New) or 8% (Classic); Step 2: 5% | 6% per step | 10% | 10% |
| Maximum loss | 10% of initial balance; 8% on $50K and $100K | 5% in evaluation; 4% funded | 6% below initial size (stop-out) | 6% of initial balance |
| Daily loss | 5%; 4% on $50K and $100K | None in evaluation; 3% daily pause funded | 3% daily pause | 3% (breach ends the account) |
| Minimum profitable days | 3 per step; 3 before each scale-up | None | None | 3 in evaluation |
| News trading | No orders executed 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news | Allowed, except bracketing | Allowed, except bracketing | Not stated separately |
| Leverage on forex | 1:100 | 1:30 | 1:30 | 1:30 |
| Time limit | Unlimited (30 days of inactivity expires the account) | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Platform | MT5 | MT5 | MT5 | MT5 |
Three details change how these numbers trade in practice.
- Static, not trailing. The maximum loss on every program is measured from the initial balance and does not trail your equity. On High Stakes, the daily limit is 5% of the higher of the previous day's closing balance or equity, reset at 00:00 server time.
- Pause vs breach. The 3% daily limit on Hyper Growth and on funded Bootcamp accounts is a pause: the account is disabled for the rest of the day and reopens at 00:00 MT5 server time. On Pro Growth and High Stakes, hitting the daily limit ends the account.
- Profitable days. A profitable day on High Stakes and Pro Growth means closed trades netting at least 0.5% of the initial balance, so $500 on a $100K account.
One conflict to check before buying: the High Stakes program card on The5ers' site shows a 4% daily and 8% maximum loss for the $50K and $100K sizes, while the High Stakes loss-limit FAQ still describes 10% and 5% for the program. Confirm the figure shown in your own checkout for those two sizes.

High Stakes is the cheap entry at small sizes, Bootcamp is the cheap entry at large sizes, and Hyper Growth is the expensive one per dollar of capital. All fees are one-time; there is no monthly subscription.
| Account size | High Stakes New | High Stakes Classic | Bootcamp (entry + fee on passing) | Hyper Growth | Pro Growth |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $2.5K | $19 | $22 | - | - | - |

| $25K | $176 | $195 | - | - | - |
| $50K | $249 | $279 | - | - | $329 |
| $100K | $405 | $455 | $95 + $205 = $300 | - | - |
| $250K | - | - | $225 + $350 = $575 | - | - |
The New and Classic versions of High Stakes share the same loss limits and payouts; New costs less but asks for a 10% Step 1 target instead of 8%. Bootcamp sizes are the funded balance: the $100K plan starts you on a $25,000 Step 1 account that grows to $50,000 and $75,000 before the $100,000 funded stage.
Fees partly come back on High Stakes. The5ers' payout FAQ describes Hub Credit worth 10% of the fee after Step 1 and 20% after Step 2, plus 70% of the fee added to the funded account's equity and withdrawable with the first payout. Bootcamp and Hyper Growth fees are non-refundable.

The5ers High Stakes vs Bootcamp: which evaluation fits you?
High Stakes takes two steps to funding; Bootcamp takes three shorter ones.
High Stakes suits a trader who wants room per trade and a high split from day one; Bootcamp suits a trader who wants the lowest upfront cost and can live with a 5% limit.
Suppose you are choosing between the two at $100K. High Stakes New costs $405 and gives you 10% of total room and 5% a day (8% and 4% at this size on the current card), 1:100 leverage on forex, and an 80% split once funded. Bootcamp costs $95 upfront and $205 more only if you pass, but each of the three steps allows just 5% of total loss, the funded account drops to 4%, and the split starts at 50%.
| Question | High Stakes | Bootcamp |
|---|---|---|
| Total profit needed to get funded | 15% (New) or 13% (Classic), over 2 steps | 6% on each of 3 steps |
| Daily limit during evaluation | Yes, 5% (4% at $50K and $100K) | None |
| Trading days required | 3 profitable days per step | None |
| News | No orders 2 minutes around high-impact releases | Allowed, except bracketing |
| Scaling step | Every 10% target with 3 profitable days | Every 5% target |
| Ceiling | $500,000, with a fixed monthly payout from $350,000 | $4,000,000 |
The news rule is the sharpest difference. On High Stakes, any order executed in the 4-minute window around a red-folder release is a soft breach: profits from it are removed and losses stay with you, as The5ers' news trading FAQ sets out. Pending orders count when they trigger, not when they are placed. Bootcamp only bans bracketing, meaning a buy stop and a sell stop placed together around the release.
Bootcamp has its own catches. You can hold at most four Bootcamp accounts (two $20K, one $100K, one $250K), each must run a different trading method, and the fee is not refunded. Leverage is 1:30 on forex and 1:25 on metals and indices, so position sizes are smaller than on High Stakes. If sizing discipline is the open question, our guide to the 1% risk rule for funded traders works through the math for limits this tight.
Hyper Growth vs Pro Growth: The5ers' two 1-step routes
Hyper Growth and Pro Growth both get you funded after a single 10% target.
Both Growth programs ask for one 10% target with a 6% maximum loss and 3% daily limit; they differ on price, on whether the daily limit ends the account, and on how fast the balance grows.
- Hyper Growth ($260, $450 and $850 for $5K, $10K and $20K) has no minimum days, and its 3% daily limit pauses the account rather than closing it. The account doubles at every 10% target: $5K, $10K, $20K, $40K and on up to $1,280,000, then $4,000,000. The split is 50% on the evaluation target, 75% once funded, and 80% to 100% from a $640,000 balance. Each level also pays a Hub Credit bonus, from $15 up to $1,600. Evaluation capital is capped at $40,000 per trader.
- Pro Growth ($52, $98, $189 and $329 for $5K, $10K, $20K and $50K) costs a fraction of Hyper Growth but requires 3 profitable days in the evaluation, and a 3% daily loss ends the account. It scales in smaller steps after each 10% target ($5K to $7,500 to $10,000 and so on, up to $500,000), with a 75% split until $300,000, 80% at $350,000, and 80% to 100% from $400,000.
Both run on MT5 with 1:30 leverage on forex. On 16 October 2026 our Fine Print tracker logged The5ers adding stocks to Hyper Growth's instrument list, alongside FX, metals, indices and crypto. The5ers also allows copy trading between your own Hyper Growth accounts until your total managed capital across programs reaches $500,000.
The price gap is the real decision. A $20K Hyper Growth account costs $661 more than a $20K Pro Growth account. You pay that for a pause instead of a breach on bad days, no minimum days, and a balance that doubles at each target rather than growing in smaller steps.
How do The5ers payouts, scaling and refunds work?
Every program pays on the same clock: first withdrawal 14 days after the funded account is activated, then every 2 weeks from the last approved withdrawal. The 14-day timer restarts each time the account scales.
- Minimums and caps. The minimum withdrawal is $150. High Stakes $50K accounts need $300 of profit per request and cap each payout at $3,000; $100K accounts need $500 and cap at $4,000.
- Methods and fees. Rise, crypto (up to $1,500 per withdrawal) and bank transfer each carry a 3.5% commission; payouts taken as Hub Credit carry none, but Hub Credit only buys new accounts. Full details are in The5ers' withdrawals FAQ.
- Processing. Approved withdrawals are typically processed within 3 business days; the risk review before approval usually takes 24 to 48 business hours.
- High Stakes split ladder. 80% up to $150,000, 85% at $175,000 to $200,000, 90% at $250,000 to $300,000, then 100% plus a fixed $4,000 monthly payout from $350,000, rising to $10,000 a month at $500,000.
On our The5ers payout tracker, the firm sent $3,624,005 across 2,111 on-chain payouts in the 30 days to 20 October 2026. That is a verified floor, not the full figure: payouts by bank transfer and other off-chain routes leave no public trace and are not counted. Compare it with other firms on the prop firm payouts page.
Refund terms changed this year. On 26 August 2026 our Fine Print tracker recorded The5ers replacing its 14-day refund window with a shorter one: provided no trades have been placed, a cash refund within 5 days of purchase and Hub Credit only after that. Why we log these edits is covered in how Fine Print tracks prop firm rule changes. For a different kind of change, The5ers has also connected account data to ChatGPT and Claude; see what The5ers' MCP launch means for traders.
Prop trading carries real risk: most evaluation fees are spent on accounts that never reach a payout, so size the fee as money you can lose.
Verdict
For most forex traders, The5ers High Stakes is the default pick: an 80% split from the first payout, 1:100 leverage, wide loss limits on sizes up to $25K, and 70% of the fee back with the first payout. Its cost is the 3-profitable-day rule and the news blackout. Bootcamp is the better buy if you want a $100K or $250K funded account for the lowest upfront outlay and you trade small, steady positions without needing a daily buffer in evaluation; you accept a 50% starting split for it. Hyper Growth is for traders who expect to compound quickly and value a daily pause over a breach, and who are willing to pay several times the Pro Growth fee. Pro Growth is the low-cost 1-step test. Frequently Asked Questions
Is The5ers High Stakes or Bootcamp cheaper?
It depends on the size. High Stakes is cheaper at small sizes, from $19 for $2.5K. At $100K, Bootcamp costs $300 in total ($95 upfront, $205 on passing) against $405 for High Stakes New and $455 for Classic. High Stakes returns 70% of its fee with the first payout; Bootcamp's fee is non-refundable.
Which The5ers program has no minimum trading days?
Bootcamp and Hyper Growth have no minimum trading or profitable days in the evaluation. High Stakes needs 3 profitable days per step and Pro Growth needs 3 in its single step, each worth at least 0.5% of the initial balance.
Can you trade the news at The5ers?
On Bootcamp and Hyper Growth, yes, except bracketing a release with opposite stop orders. On High Stakes, orders may not execute from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news; profits from such trades are removed. Holding positions open through news is allowed on all programs.
When can you request the first payout at The5ers?
14 days after your funded account is activated, then every 2 weeks from your last approved withdrawal, with a $150 minimum. The timer resets whenever the account scales.
What is the difference between Hyper Growth and Pro Growth?
Both are 1-step programs with a 10% target and 6% maximum loss. Hyper Growth costs $260 to $850, has a 3% daily pause instead of a breach, no minimum days, and doubles the account at each target. Pro Growth costs $52 to $329, needs 3 profitable days, ends the account at a 3% daily loss, and starts at a 75% split.
Does The5ers' High Stakes drawdown trail?
No. The maximum loss is static, measured from the initial balance. Only the daily limit moves, resetting each day from the higher of the previous day's closing balance or equity.
