The more telling change is in the size of payouts. The count rose 22.3% while dollars rose 10.7%, so the typical payout got smaller. The median dropped from $1,125 to $1,080, and 40,707 of October's payouts were under $1,000. Only 400 payouts were $10,000 or more. That pattern fits a market where more traders take frequent, smaller withdrawals, which daily and on-demand payout policies encourage. Our futures daily payouts comparison covers which firms offer them.

Partnerships don't change the numbers, which come straight from the blockchain. Each firm's page on our payout leaderboard shows its own history and largest payouts.

Tradeify's lead is not new, but it widened: its October total was 26% above September. It is also the firm that changed the most rules last month, which we break down in our Tradeify rules guide.

Some firms paid out more in October, others less.

Most of October's growth came from futures firms, while several forex and crypto firms paid out less than in September. Among firms that sent at least $1M in October, these moved the most:

MyFundedPerps only started paying through a wallet we track on September 10, so its September figure covers about three weeks, not a full month. Our crypto prop firms with daily payouts post compares it with the other perpetuals firms.

One month's change says little about a firm's health on its own. Payout volume moves with the number of funded traders, promotions that sold many accounts weeks earlier, changes to payout schedules, and traders choosing to leave profit in their accounts. A firm can also move part of its payouts to bank wire or another method we can't see. Treat a single drop as a prompt to look at the firm's longer history, not as a verdict, and check our Fine Print updates for any rule change that might explain it.

When do prop firm payouts happen: days, weekdays and the largest payout

Payouts cluster mid to late in the working week.

Prop firm payouts cluster in the second half of the working week. Thursday averaged $5.5M a day in October and Wednesday $5.1M, while Saturday and Sunday averaged $2.1M and $1.9M. Many firms process payout requests during business hours, so payouts requested over the weekend tend to settle early in the following week.

Monday4$3.5M
Tuesday4$4.6M
Wednesday4$5.1M
Thursday5$5.5M
Friday5$4.9M

The single busiest day was Wednesday, October 28, with $6.70M across 4,740 payouts, followed by Tuesday, October 20, with $6.36M across 4,570. The largest single payout was $252,376 from Tradeify on October 26, ahead of a $169,647 FundedNext payout on October 27. Those outliers are rare: only 400 of October's payouts were $10,000 or more. What on-chain payout data can and can't tell you

On-chain data shows payouts that actually settled, with an amount, a date and a sending wallet anyone can check. It does not show everything a firm pays. We count payouts settled through Rise or a direct transfer from a firm's known wallets; payouts by bank wire, card, PayPal or an internal balance leave no public trace and are excluded. Every total in this post is therefore a floor.

  1. Firms that pay off-chain are missing entirely. Several of the largest names, including FTMO, Topstep, Apex Trader Funding and Lucid Trading, are not on our tracker, so their payouts are not part of the $122.8M.
  2. Totals are per company, not per market. A firm that runs forex, futures and crypto accounts from the same wallets appears once.
  3. A payout is counted on the day it settles, not the day the trader requested it, which is why weekends look quiet.
  4. We attribute transfers to firms by their known payout wallets. A wallet can also move funds for operational reasons, so a small share of transfers may not be trader payouts.
